" Kuan Yin (also Kwan Yin or Quan Yin) is the Buddhist Goddess of mercy & compassion.
She holds the traditional symbols of a Lotus flower in one hand & a vase in the other. This vase contains 'the water of life', which she is pouring into a lake of Lotus flowers.
She stands in her magical nightime garden. Lit only by the New Moon which represents new beginnings & healing , or re-birth.
Butterflies & Dragonflies play in the moonlight, dancing amongst the flowers.

This painting was created especially for a friend, as a gift for her newly created 'Healing/ Reiki room'. Kuan Yin is often associated with Reiki practises & to have a picture of her in your home is said to bring luck & good fortune"
